Our pastor graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a B.A. in Electronic
Media. Prior to his ordination as a priest, he had a successful career in
Information Technology (IT). Some of his IT projects were featured by
international institutions such as: The Smithsonian Institute, The University of
London, The Netherlands Koninklijke Bibliotheek, The National Geographic
Society, The New York Times and Stanford University among others.
In addition, He participated in various conferences as a guest
speaker/presenter such as the White House/U.S. Department of Commerce,
The NASA Network Resources Training Site, Michigan State University, and
the American Association of Higher Education.
In 1998 he joined Motorola’s Semiconductor Products Sector located in Tempe AZ at the IT Enterprise Architecture and Tools division as an IT Software Engineer III, SPS Intranet
Development Lead.
As a priest, he holds two master degrees; one in Philosophy and the other in Divinity. In 2009 he was awarded by the Arizona Knights of Columbus State Council the “Chaplain of
the Year'' award.
In 2011 he was sent to The Catholic University of America and received a licentiate in Canon Law (Juris Canonici Litentiae) and upon his return, he was appointed by Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted as the Adjutant Judicial Vicar for the Diocese of Phoenix.
In addition, he has participated as a speaker in many national/international conferences and recently was a presenter in the 2018 Annual Canon Law Society of America Convention on The Phoenix Tribunal Experience.
He has been a priest for 14 years and among his pastoral assignments besides being our pastor at Our Lady of Perpeual Help, he was assigned to the Office of the Canonical Services and the Tribunal as the Diocesan Adjutant Judicial Vicar/Ecclesiastical Judge 2011-2019;
Saint Simon and Jude Cathedral, 2013;
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 2012;
Catholic University of America, 2011;
Most Holy Trinity, 2009.
